Dr. Erik Grossmann and his wife Karen have 2 kids. Dr. Grossmann is originally from St. Louis and came to Columbia, Missouri for college in 1988. He graduated from Mizzou in 1996. Dr. Grossmann did his general surgery training program at St. Louis University and colon and rectal surgery residency in Shreveport, La., before returning to Columbia in 2006 to take a position with Columbia Surgical Associates . Dr. Grossmann focuses on the surgical management of colon, rectal and anal cancer, Crohn's disease, and ulcerative colitis, as well as more common conditions such as hemorrhoids and other anal diseases.
Fun Fact: He also play guitar in a "Dads" neighborhood garage band called Vertical Mattress
